Moussa N’Diaye is a Senegalese dancer, choreographer, actor and cultural entrepreneur, born in 1991 in Senegal. Coming from a traditional griot family of musicians, dancers and storytellers, he was introduced to dance and music from an early age.
He received his professional training from his uncle Bane Ndiaye, Germaine Acogny at École des Sables, and Pape Moussa Sonko. In Senegal, he performed with internationally renowned artists including Baaba Maal, Youssou N’Dour and Abdou Guite Seck, while also co-directing the dance company Synchro Art.
In 2013, Moussa was invited to Belgium by theatre director Chokri Ben Chikha to perform in De Waarheidscommissie. Since then, he has been based in Amsterdam, where he has built an international career combining dance, theatre, education and cultural exchange.
Today, Moussa performs worldwide in theatres, festivals and cultural events. He is currently part of the productions Dignity and Perzen by Action Zoo Humain, touring internationally.
As the founder and artistic director of the African Origin Dance Challenge (AODC), he has created an international platform celebrating African dance, music and culture by bringing together artists from across the world.
Besides performing, Moussa teaches workshops and masterclasses throughout Europe and beyond. His work has taken him to countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway, Hong Kong, the United States and Senegal.
Moussa is known for his energetic teaching style, inspiring performances and his passion for connecting people through African dance, live music and storytelling. Whether on stage, in a theatre, at a festival or in a classroom, his mission is to build bridges between cultures through art.
